Dabbling in photography and what DA labels 'artisan crafts'. I call it 'crafties' though, since they get pretty random and I think that making a crafty sounds more fun than making an artisan craft. ^^;
I'm currently located in South Korea, without my sewing machine or various adhesives, so focusing a bit more on photography than 'craftying'. Usually I use a Canon 500D with one of two lenses (EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II or EF75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM), but sometimes all I have with me is my old Nikon Coolpix S210.
I consider myself only a half-step above complete novice/newb, but I'm not out for mass approval or profits. While I would like to hone any skills, I take photographs or crafty for myself or with someone specific in mind (a friend or often, my mother, who of course bought me my first camera- a Canon PowerShot A75- and encouraged me to take photos even though I thought I was crap).

Why do people only give us a penny for our two cents?
